Myths all have some truth at their roots. Imagine living life knowing the truths of the myths that the majority of people refuse to know and believe. Rob Thurman has created a reality that is cold and harsh, yet still there is hope and warmth. The characters spring to life, struggling with the situations this knowledge helps to create for them. Lots of action, desperate situations, and a realistic amount of warm and happy moments. Thurman shows a wonderfully funny, dark sense of humor. I found this book very suspenseful and well written, and recommend it strongly.
